Facilities

The Imagination Station facilities have much to offer the Stratford and Sherman County community. We have a 12 computer lab with high speed internet connection and wireless connection. Our lab also has a projector and color laser printer. The Imagination Station has seating for 85 in the exhibit hall and room for 30 in the front conference area. Our exhibit area has all the room for full scale exhibits and presentations with high ceilings to hang exciting presentations and colorful decorations. We also have a full kitchen for meal preparation and Scout snacks. Our costume room is large enough to equip an entire drama performance. If that's not enough we also have a garage and storage room for all the other imagination requirements.

2005 Facilities Update: The building revenovation phase III is nearing completion. The bathrooms are complete, heating ducts relocated and painting the ceiling and walls is next. The Imagination Station has enough chairs for 85 persons.

A grant was received from the U.S. Trust (Harrington Trust) and the Stratford Area Foundation for ceiling fans, protable heaters, painting the ceilings and walls, a new copier and exterior paint. Work has also been done on Phase IV (store room, garage and costume room).
